Barkat Foundation operating under the name of "Jai Sai Ram Educational Trust" was established on January 9, 2008 by a dedicated group of like-minded and socially active individuals. Comprising primarily of volunteers who are professionals, educators, and advocates; the trust is actively engaged in Noida and Delhi.

For over 15 years, Barkat, which signifies growth, development, and prosperity, has been endeavouring to reach out to underprivileged children in society, aiming to establish their identity. Our efforts span from providing basic education to facilitating vocational and higher studies in reputable institutions. We prioritize education as an inherent right, striving to make it accessible to every child with a thirst for knowledge.

What we do

Barkat is a step towards bridging the gap of quality education and healthcare for the ones coming from a weaker financial background. Through our various programs, we are providing academic and vocational education to children, by running evening classes and sending them to private schools. Our support extends to free medicines and medical check-ups, equipping them with basic amenities and spreading awareness, along with a lot more.

Become a member

Membership is for everyone who wants to be a part of something bigger than them. An individual can be a helping hand at Barkat by subscribing to a monthly donation as per their capacity hence becoming a member of the trust. A Member can also sponsor education of an underprivileged child by paying their annual school fees.

Become a volunteer

Volunteering is for everyone who can work on ground or online and can contribute time as per their availability. Volunteering doesn't come with any commitment. Being a part of the organization will give a sense of pride and identity, helping to boost ones self-confidence. Your volunteer work is a reflection of who you are as an individual and more than that, it gives one a sense of satisfaction.

Become an Intern

Internship is for everyone who can give a minimum duration of time to work on ground. All interns get a certificate after completing their committed duration of work. You can choose from multiple positions available for internship. You can be a teacher, dancer, trainer and content writer for our trust. This internship provides you with firsthand experience, professional opportunities and personal growth. It will also make you more competitive when applying for jobs. As an intern, you'll gain relevant skills to showcase on your profile.

Sponsoring a Child’s Education: Companies can sponsor a child’s education, which will cover the cost of school fees, uniforms, and study materials. This will allow a child to receive quality education and improve their chances of a better future. Donating Goods: Companies and any Individual can donate goods such as stationery, books, and school bags to our students, which will help them, excel in their studies and be better prepared for school.
Volunteering: Companies can encourage their employees to volunteer their time and skills to help us with our initiatives. This will benefit the children and provide an opportunity for employees to give back to the community and develop new skills.

Organizing Health/Counseling Camps: Companies can help us organize health camps, mental health counseling camps, and vocational/career counseling camps that will provide vital services to underprivileged children and their families.
